STRESZCZENIE

W ciągu 40 lat od momentu wprowadzenia implantów na rynek opracowano dwie ich konstrukcje: implant z kołnierzem i implant stożkowy. Istnieją różne odmiany i kombinacje tych dwóch konstrukcji, niemniej dla celów tego artykułu skupimy się na ich ogólnych cechach; każda z tych konstrukcji ma swoje określone miejsce w implantologii oraz swoje mocne i słabe strony.

SUMMARY

After 40 years of implant design, two designs have emerged: the collared implant, and the conical implant. There are variations and combinations of these two designs, but for the purpose of this article we will focus on the general aspects of them; each design having its place, and each having its strengths and weaknesses.
